 FAQs

  • Yes, we are fully licensed for commercial drone operations in the SPECIFIC category.

And yes, we hold compulsory drone insurance - Unmanned Aviation Liability & Hull to the value of 1.000.000 CZK.

  • No, there are certain areas and conditions that are restricted for drone flying, such as near airports and during nighttime. Our pilots are well-versed in the regulations and restrictions for drone flying and will ensure that all flights are conducted safely and legally.

Each location of an operation requires prior planning.

Operations within Flight Restriction Zones (FRZs) require up to 30 days' notice to acquire relevant permissions from the CAA. Usually, it doesn’t take so long …😊

  • We do not fly in high winds and rain. We can fly in winds gusting up to 22mph and still get very smooth shots thanks to the advanced camera gimbal system.

Our drones are capable of flying in light rain but rainwater on the camera lenses may spoil any shots.

  • YES! We can fly indoors but we need space. We have flown in warehouses, studios, and some tighter places.

Most of the time there are no issues with flying indoors but safety is our number one priority. Only a short test flight can give us the final answer.

  • Turnaround time may vary depending on the project and special editing requests, but generally drone photography can be delivered within 72 hours after the photos are taken. For other projects, let’s discuss your deadlines and an accurate timeline.

  • It may come as a surprise to you that airspace (the stuff above you) is highly regulated and there are many... many rules which govern its use.

Without special approval, 120m (400ft) is the maximum height a drone is permitted to fly. Higher altitudes can be achieved however this requires additional time and prior approval.

  • For legal and safety reasons no, we never fly over large groups of people. The exception to this is that we are allowed under CAA regulations to fly near to people or property that we have “control over”. So there is usually a way to obtain the shots needed.
